Located just off Highway 17 in beautiful
Wilmington, North Carolina is the gorgeous Southern
community of Porter’s Neck Plantation. The land of
Porter’s Neck has long been populated as it was originally a
peanut plantation dating back to the 1800’s.
The
community was finally established in 1991 after the final
120-mile stretch of Interstate 40 opened Wilmington to the rest
of the state.
The community boasts 650 acres of stunning, lush coastal land
amongst the Intracoastal Waterway and an exquisite golf course.
The Tom Fazio designed 18-hole championship course has been
ranked “Number #1 on the North Carolina Coast” by Golf Digest.
The country club also contains two huge pools, seven hydro clay
surfaced tennis courts, a fully equipped Sports Center and a
spectacular 18th Century Federal-style clubhouse.
Residents of this family-oriented, elegant community can enjoy
the Low Country’s tradition of blending the past with the
present whether they choose a new construction site or already
existing home when they arrive at Porter’s Neck Plantation.
